We assisted a cohabiting couple separate shortly after the birth of their child. As we were not limited by the remit of the court we were able to come up with an innovative solution, suitable for this family, which took into consideration their current situation, where income was reduced in the short term but which factored in future earning capacity so that in these specific circumstances mum was able to achieve immediate security but dad had confidence that in a defined and quite short period of time, he too would be able to achieve security. We were assisted by a mortgage adviser who worked with both clients together within this process. 

We assisted a couple who had been married 30 years and who had a mixture of dependent and independent children. We were assisted by an accountant to look at the company and how we could attribute income in the most tax efficient way, allowing for the parties to meet their monthly expenses.
